Can I take pain killers before a blood test?

You can take what ever pain-killers you'd like, barring any legality issues. Tylenol, NSAIDs (motrin, naproxen), or any prescription medications you might have.

They won't harm any results from the normal physician requested blood tests. When you aren't supposed to eat, the test is usually a total cholesterol panel, and medications (barring very very few rare ones) won't effect those levels.
